Like the legend of the phoenix, the story of Sapporo Sushi Factory is one of rebirth. In the summer of 2015, a new group of investors – the third in only seven years – were looking to buy the restaurant and expand its menu with an inspired selection of authentic Thai fare.
Despite its track record of openings, closings, and re-openings, Sapporo had managed to establish a favorable reputation and a solid image as an award-winning sushi bar. Our challenge was to refine the brand, reinvent the customer experience, attract a new generation of Thai foodies, and re-establish relationships with former customers.
The scope of our work included strategic support during the negotiation of the purchase, providing forward-looking, brand-conscious input on the terms of the agreement. Following the acquisition, we were busy with logo design, original photography, copy writing, menu design, web design, social media support and signage.
