My aim is to meet the creative needs of small businesses and non-profits. When I use the word creative, I’m referring to issues requiring truly generative solutions—imaginative responses to clients’ biggest challenges, balanced with the judiciousness that comes from more than 20 years of experience across multiple industries. My process can be best described as a 360-degree approach to strategic planning, brand development, marketing, and communications that is tailor-made for each client.

Socially conscious organizations, women- and minority-owned businesses, and organizations committed to economic, racial, and environmental healing find that I can be an exceptional creative partner. My work and research often cover tough topics—such as matters related to human dignity, sexual orientation, gender identity, race and racism, cultural identity, and class.

My academic background, which includes a Ph.D. in Ethical & Creative Leadership with a specialization in Martin Luther King Jr. Studies, may seem like an unusual path for someone with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and popular music. But it speaks to the very heart of how organizations might rethink success. I believe that is it possible to be socially responsible, empathetic, diverse, culturally aware…and still maximize stakeholder value.
